Snow and Granola

Wow did we get some snow last night. Indulge me please as I share a million snow photos. I can't remember a more beautiful day. I'm not even bummed that the kids have no school.

I love how the weight of the snow makes the branches droop.

View down the street

Sledding down the deck stairs is always fun...and safe I'm sure.

Will getting some air.

Hannah's turn. I'm next...kidding.

No air for me.

Ok so I have to share the best granola in the world ! Allisa over at 33 Shades of Green said I could share it with you. Love her blog, love her recipes...LOVE this granola!

It makes so much..I even brought some to my neighbor. Don't you wish you were my neighbor? It's my new favorite snack with my yogurt. Thanks Allisa!

Back to sledding.

  1. I don't know I can see you sledding. I seem to remember a young lady jumping off of the diving board with spider man gear on. (one of Ben Warren's favorite moments). Happy Snow Day!

  2. This is the beautiful snow I remember. We did the stairs thing when we stayed up north a few years ago with the kiddos. It was better than a sledding hill.
And I'm trying that granola. What fruit did you use?

  10. Ok, Pam ... WOW!! These photos are incredible!! Like ... incredible!! My fave has to be the first "catching air" shot, that's super cool! Wasn't this the craziest day? The North Shore was initially predicted to be 3-6", so we were shocked to wake up to a cancellation and TWELVE inches ... like you, we were totally psyched - and, yes, it really truly was a BEAUTIFUL day!!

PS ... I can't figure out how to get my photos to publish any larger than what you see (not quite 3x5?) ... I really like the size that you use, but HOW do you set it up?? When I'm uploading (via pop up window), I have it set to "large", but ... there must be another location?? Sorry to bug you, but I like your sizing - is there a quick answer?

  14. Hi Pam - I'm so glad that you liked the granola! I always get a little nervous when I post a recipe that someone will make it and hate it!

I'm really jealous of all the snow you are getting - we haven't had much this year and I'm secretly hoping to get snowed in. LOVE the photo of the view down the street.
