Griffy and I are in the kitchen today. We're making muffins, and bread and soup for dinner. I'm going to post the muffin recipe on my cooking blog. I've had this recipe since I was pregnant with Stephen...that's SIXTEEN years ago. I got it out of a Fit Pregnancy magazine and they're Yum.
I'm still tearing my jackets off. Seriously, why didn't I do this years ago.
Don't all my Barefoot books look colorful? I still need her two latest books..
Look what Steve started this weekend. That was all the "smashing stuff" in my last post. He's tearing down one of the closets so we can move the STUPID GIANT UGLY television that's been in my family room for far too long..down to the basement. Along with video games. Man will be a happy girl when that happens.
Look! I'm not a bonehead anymore. Stephen had to do it for me..so sad.
Can't get the link to work. And I so wanted to see what you've been smashing this weekend.
ReplyDeleteLucky girl to have a handy hubby. Mine? Not s'much, but he does try, thankfully.
More snow? Is this a record year? Seems like a ton to me.
That looks like quite a project! Love Griffy's toes on the counter!
ReplyDeleteI am a little weird about my books. I made new jackets for them that make my shelves look lovely. It is super cheap and easy to do. Just go buy the large, thick paper at HobLob. It is sold by the sheet (very big, prob get 5 books out of one sheet). You want it to be rather thick, so it will fold well. Mine have been on for years and they still look fab!! Trace the book and fold it on. If you must know the name of each book, you could write it on the paper (where the spine is) with a pen. I have covered my hubby's books from college, you name it! send me an email (on my blog) and i will send you some pics. It would be a great snow day project!! hugs, Cathy
What a cute little assistant you have helping in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't get the video to open. Please try again...we want to see it! :)
Lord. Suddenly in this post Griffy looks like a little man, all grown up! It happens so fast.
