Jackets Off

A friend told me I should take the  jackets off all my books after looking at my bookshelf. I'm so glad I did. It looks so much better.  Now I'm flying around my house taking all the jackets off my books. You should see my recycle bin.

  1. Funny Pam, I have done the same thing. Amazing how much better it looks and I love when the books get a worn look. Why would we prefer they didn't?

  4. It makes your bookshelf look like it's full of timeless classics, I love it! I love Pandora (your last post) as well, I have it on all the time, I especially love it for Christmas music over the holidays.

Off to look at my bookshelf!

I love the painting of Hannah...and I love her bucket list. She is so adventurous.
Making a bucket list sounds fun!

As it was linking here, I thought, "Hmm. Warm snap in NE? Hadn't heard!" Then I wondered if it was books. Tricky!

  9. I don't like book jackets either. They should not make them and knock a buck off of books, IMO.

  14. Hi Pam,
I just wanted to thank you for your pizza dough recipe. Dough is rising and we'll have pizza tonight. My daughter has a digestive disease and we aren't able to eat out at this point in her recovery. so I was delighted to find your pizza night recipe. Thanks for sharing. Also, your banana bread is a huge hit in our house.

  16. I love it! I did the same thing a few months back when I went to my friend Sam's house, and her book shelves looked so cool. At first I saved the jackets, and came to senses and recycled them. Did know why I was saving them? Weird.
