Done.
I'm done.
Done packing lunches.
Done doing homework.
Done DRIVING.
Done getting up early.
I'm sure in a month...hopefully longer...there will be this same post saying..I'm ready for buses...activities..routine...quiet time.
But right now...
I'm done.
You know what Will asked me tonight while tucking him in? If we could homeschool over the summer.
Ummm.....NO.
Ok..fine. I sound like a horrible mom saying that don't I?
I'm just done. I want to go to the beach and sleep in and not do homework. I know..I sound like a teenager.

Boy, do I hear you! Making lunches every morning is my least favorite task and I hope I don't see another PB&J for a few months. I think I'll get to finally meet you at school on Monday for the scrapbook presentations and I hope you bring Griffin too! I don't think I've ever spent so much money on a school project! My son was perfectly happy with a plain scrapbook from Job Lot, but not so for Olivia.
ReplyDeleteThat is the best picture. Your kids have the cutest freckles--love them. Here I am, only two weeks into summer, and I can say that I'm still liking it, but the hard part is still to come. Tucker's leaving a week from today.
ReplyDeleteLove that picture too!!
ReplyDeleteYou sound like a teenager..love that!
I totally hear you though...I was DONE and ready for summer too.
We are still loving it here!
Enjoy the day and the "doneness!"
I am so with you. I dread every morning to pack lunches, pack backpacks and find socks. we are so close!
