A Year of Blog Headers and a New Book

I can't find January '10!

It's physically impossible for me to walk
into a bookstore and not buy a book.
So, while on the Vineyard Monday
we went into the bookstore and of course
I bought a new book..
even though I've got many books
sitting on my nightstand
waiting to be read.
But, I had just read about this book
in the Sunday paper
and had to have it.

Now, I'm not a young, new mother
but this book looks interesting.
I am fascinated by
other cultures and how they raise their children.
Now I just need to find time in
my day to read all of these books
and watch the last three episodes of
Mad Men.
Oh that Don Draper.
I love him
and I hate him.
Can't wait for Season 5!

  1. I love books. I love bookstores. I wish I had a million books in my house. Your new book sounds really good, and I'm in need of a few new ones. I am going to go look it up. That last picture is sweet of Griffy sitting at the table. He is always so adorable. :))

  5. I love looking back at the headers...... so fun! And if I had to pick a favorite it would have to be March..... I love the yellow!

Oh, books... how I adore them. And the thought of an old book and the smell.... makes me weak in the knees almost.

  8. Just watched half through season 4 on Netflix. We joined the Don Draper party late. But now that I see there are only a handfull of shows left I'm trying to make them last. I just keep hoping he will be able to redeem himself. Love Peggy.

  9. This was so fun to look back on the year with you and remember each one.
    I got a gift card to B&N. I'm ordering that book today. I've got some time to . . . waste . . . use how I want!
    Here's wishing you some snow!

  10. That looks like a great book! Did you watch the movie "Babies" ? It's super cute. Preview before you watch with your boys, though. Lots of, um, topless breastfeeding in other cultures. :)
