This was one of my favorite things we did on Mother's Day. Homemade pasta! Forget the spa...I had more fun doing this with the kids. I bought this pasta machine FIFTEEN years ago at Ikea in Germany. I finally opened the box yesterday.
I loved seeing all the strips of fettucini drying over the backs of my kitchen chairs.
It was the best pasta we've ever had...I can't believe I waited 15 years to try it.
Yum! Now I want one :)
ReplyDeleteI've been considering getting the pasta attachment for my kitchen aid.
ReplyDeleteLooks delish! Also looks like more time in the kitchen than I prefer. :) I wish I had your love of cooking. Your family is very lucky.
ReplyDeleteFIFTEEN years?!?!?! Holy Cow! I am terrible about buying and not using things too. You make me feel better. I knew I liked you. :)
ReplyDeletewow!!! so cool!!! i think i'm going to need to try this!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks so yummy, I can't believe you waited 15 years!! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you waited 15 years either!! I really want to try this..I either need the KA attatchment or your little gadget! I made your pork loin roast recipe tonight and my family went CRAZY!! I will be making the cubano sandwiches tomorrow!!
ReplyDeleteAhhh ha! We have an ice cream maker still in the box rom about that long ago too....I guess I need to pull it out!
ReplyDeleteThe pasta looks like sooo much fun!
Well, it was about time to pull it out! My Italian step mother made home made pasta all of the time and she would let it dry from wire hangers. I would walk in the kitchen and see hangers placed everywhere and get excited! Shamefully, I have never tried it myself....
ReplyDeletenothing NOTHING beats homemade pasta ... take it from a true carb-o-holic ;-) YUM!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I love your bathroom/laundry area...show more pics please!! Love your day!
