Marcus the Carcass is out

We've started our Halloween decorating. Inside only though. I decorate the outside usually the night before or the day of Halloween.

This is the view from my  kitchen sink. I was tired of staring out at the gross deck that needs to be torn down. So I put out some pumpkins. I think I should sit a scarecrow or a skeleton out there on the bench don't you think?

All the Martha Stewart Halloween decorations were on sale at Micheals.

Griffy does not like this guy one bit.
Here are the kids last year.

That's Marcus the Carcass. I got him at Target a few years ago. Everyone loves him. Isn't he a riot?
I haven't bought one piece of candy. I just can't yet. I'd eat it all. I have no restraint when it comes to Recees Peanut Butter cups.

  1. Great job!
I can't buy the good candy yet either. I buy candy corn and sweet tarts...cause I don't like that....but chocolate would never make it 'til Oct. 31!

  2. I love that shot of the front door. The pumpkins up top are so sweet, and the ones in the urn look fantastic!
There is no candy coming in this house until Oct. 30...I can't have it around!
    Trying to eat more veggies,
    julie :)

  3. I agree with you...bought a bag of Kit Kats early and they are already gone!!
    Love your decorations!
Your mantle looks great and I love the front door!
    Enjoy the day

  4. i am showing Ben the pics right now. he started blushing and said "oh Miss Pam Dumont" he always had a thing for you:)

  5. Pam, everything looks fantastic! I love Marcus the Carcass - I still have that picture of you and Marcus from a few years ago - remember? So funny!!

  6. Your decorating is great! Can't wait to see what Griffy will be this year!

  7. I love, love, love the look you created on your mantle! It's adorable!
Also, thanks for the crockpot cookbook idea. It's a great one and I use it all the time.

  8. Your decorations look GREAT!! No candy here yet either.

  9. Great decorations! Love the crows and the halloween banner!

  10. We have a Marcus the Carcass too. I love that guy. I bought him the first year we were married. He was our first Halloween decoration... ever. Sadly he may have to retire. After 12 great years, he's not looking so good. He still lights up like a champ, but he's cracked in all the wrong places :o)
