Elf Yourself and On a Shelf

This is too much fun. Each year they get better. Try the disco one.

Do you have Elf on a Shelf? We got one last year and the kids (even the older ones) love to try and find where Buddy hid the night before. And yes, that's my sister and I sitting on Santa's lap...I'm in the plaid dress making the weird face.

  1. Hi there, Pam - thanks so much for stopping by! I really love your blog and see that we have many friends in common: jen, gabe, kerri, jen denton, cindy, et al ... wow! Looks like you're on the Cape? I'm on the North Shore ... nice to "meet" you! I'm about to be your 70th follower ;-)

I am awestruck by your amazing photos throughout your blog, they're incredible! I'm a work in progress with my photography, I love it but have a long way to go! And, yes, we DO have an Elf on the Shelf - his name is Toddy and I'm working on a post about him, so stay tuned ... we love him!!

  4. Okay, I need to know what Elf on a Shelf is? My kids would love this! They are very into surprises. They have a tradition of hiding random things from "Santa" in each other's stockings hung on the mantle. Nothing like getting a used spoon from the kitchen, dead batteries, or a smelly sock surprise in the toe of your stocking and yelling out "Thanks Santa!" I think the Elf on a shelf might be better.

  6. LOVE elf on the shelf! Our house elf's name is Zeek. The kids are so excited to see that he has moved to a different spot because they know he went to tell Santa all about their day. :o)
