Summer Slowly

Summer...for me is not about computer time.
I'm hardly ever on this thing anymore.
And I have to say I love the break.

There are blogs
that I miss reading
but I'm sure I'll catch up in the fall.
The fall is always my favorite time of year and
I don't think there is a  more beautiful place to be in the fall
than New England.
And usually, by this time of our summer vacation
I start wishing for it.
But, not this year.
I am embracing every day of this summer we're having.
Aside from our 4 day heat wave...the weather has been fantastic.

And just as important as the weather..
the kids have been getting along.
I'm not whispering under my breath,
"I cant' wait for the bus to come"
I hope I didn't jinx myself by saying that.

Hannah and her friend Madeline
jumping off the bridge.
Another thing checked off the summer list

Stay slow Summer.

  1. Hi Pam!
i'm right there with you...staying off the computer and trying to soak up every minute!
    So far it is working!:)
    have a happy day

  2. Hannah and her friend look so cute in their colorful suits. Totally with you on the computer part. I wish I could say the last part...not so much here with the getting along and I may be whispering under my breath. I love summer and fall too. I am always ready for the change...September is my favorite month weather wise, just so beautiful, and I know up in your neck of the woods it has to be even better. (You know what I wish. :)

  3. Now love....I need to see you jump off the bridge. Love that Madeline and Hannah still are good friends. Without your friends what do you have.

  4. Enjoy every moment....that's what I keep trying to do as well. I miss keeping up with blogs, but they are only this little for right now....

  5. Down south, we only have about a week and a half of summer left.... we start school so darn early. I've been spending less time on the computer, too. I wake up, have my coffee and read the blogs I love and that's about it. (and update mine from time to time, but most of the time it's just been a picture and an explanation.) Then the laptop sits and collects dust. And I don't want summer to ever end..... this one has been so great!

  6. Pam! I love the pics:) Thanks so much for having Madeline - she had such a fantastic time with you all! She can't stop talking about how cute Griffy is and that I need to have another baby!

  7. i too have been outside and on the go every single minute of this beautiful summer ... only 2 blog posts since vacation started, oh no! Like you said, though, Fall will be a great time to get back in the groove - but not just yet, right?! ;-)
