Iceland Part 2

Leaving the Strokkur geyser we drove
to Gulfoss falls..
the third and final stop on the
Golden Circle tour.

Breathtaking views
and scenery..
and I can still hear the sound
of the water crashing.

The Golden Circle tour
is a must if you're visiting
Iceland!

We decided to push it and
drive to the Blue Lagoon.
The sun came out
(doesn't happen often)
and at 5 in the afternoon
people were leaving.
No waiting in lines
and we had the place almost
to ourselves!

What an incredible
experience!

Yes..
Steve has a mud mask on.
We all put them on!
My skin never felt or looked
better after getting out
of the Blue Lagoon!

I didn't take many pictures here..
we were too busy bathing!

The Blue Lagoon was
gorgeous!
What a way to end the day!

The next day we
took a puffin tour.

The boat pulled up
close so we could see the
puffins!

Iceland is beautiful.

What a great way to
start the summer!

Next stop..
Boston and
Martha's Vineyard!

  4. Pam, I'm so excited to see your photos. We are actually leaving this weekend for a Scotland/Iceland jaunt - if that volcano that started erupting the day after we finalized our tickets doesn't cause any air travel issues, that is. Love seeing what you guys did - now I want to do a puffin tour! Thanks for sharing your adventures and helping me to get geared up to travel! XOXO
