Where do I begin?
With Iceland?
Martha's Vineyard?
Rome?
Positano and Capri?
Or with my oldest leaving for the
University of Miami?
The summer that we had was
incredible.
The travel..
the time spent with
family and friends..
the food
the laughs
the adventures!
I could go on and on.
I can't tell you how many
times I said to my children
this summer..
"do you KNOW how lucky you are??"
We are beyond blessed to have had
the experiences we did this summer.
I am so very thankful for my
hardworking husband who makes it happen.
Once I organize my photos
and continue to unpack
and get ready for back to school
here in Paris..
I will document our adventures
of this summer.
Until then..
this picture was taken Sunday evening
on our way to dinner.
Stephen took a copy of it
for his dorm room.
It was our last night in Capri and
less than 48 hours later..
Steve and Stephen were on
their way to Miami..
and I was a mess.
I miss you Stephen.
But I know this is your
time to fly!
And I know that even though "home" has been in
many, many different places..
we are your home no matter
where that place is.
You are loved and missed!
Welcome Back! I can't wait to see pictures from your summer! I'm sure they will be amazing! Good luck to your son as he starts college. AK from WI

ReplyDeleteOh, what a full and blessed Summer you have had and surely all the memories will bring you joy. Wishing your college student a great first year. My twins are now Seniors in College and I can remember delivering them into this world 21 years ago and then delivering them to college. The years go fast and fill them with love and inspiration.
