The flea market and a winner!

bonjour friends!

after the rain yesterday

here in paris..

today is a gorgeous,

fall-like day.

my favorite time of year!

i've been busy cleaning up

my flea market finds

and getting ready to put 

them in my etsy shop.

here are some photos from

sundays trip to the 

porte de vanves

flea market..

i can't get enough of 

the cafe au lait bowls

and the vintage yogurt cups.

the woman i bought the 

blue cafe au lait bowl from

(top picture) 

told me that the large bowls

in fact were not used for cafe au lait..

but for a vegetable soup 

mixed with bread and red wine.

some of these old mustard jars

may have come home with me.

i do enjoy a trip to 

the flea market!

the first

soup of the season.

hannah is home with a head

cold today..

nothing like a bowl of 

homemade chicken soup

to ease those symptoms.

i'm starting to get back in 

the groove in the kitchen...

finally.

after a summer of 

not cooking at all..

i'm happy to be meal planning

and shopping the markets

here in paris.

and finally..
