I'm very sentimental too.

I was going to answer that those are called flower frogs, to hold arrangements, but I see you got your answer. Very cool. My mom collects them.

I'd hate to have to redo the red couch, because I would be so sentimental about it. Maybe you can redo it, but take a photo of it as red and frame that and always have it hanging over the original couch!! :)Nicollehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02144472105892524890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1669400531010928919.post-69568083553142486952010-11-11T23:14:25.746-08:002010-11-11T23:14:25.746-08:00Lovely! I too cherish all of my family heirlooms! Yo...Pam,
I too cherish all of my family heirlooms! Your things are so beautiful! I especially like the peeks I have seen of your grandmother's rugs. The settee....I kinda like it as is. Worn just a bit. Do some eclectic decorating around it, and it will be perfect! And the glass frogs are collectables. You can also find them in metal. Try making a flower arrangement out of them and see the difference from just sticking the flowers in a bowl without them!Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16644941834464747393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1669400531010928919.post-28605605024360873022010-11-11T05:38:49.181-08:002010-11-11T05:38:49.181-08:00I was given my great grandmother's china that ...I was given my great grandmother's china that was also used by my grandma. You use them at the bottom of a vase or a cache pot to hold flower stems such as gerbera daisies, roses, etc. Beautiful items, by the way; I feel the exact same way about all of my inherited items, and blessedly I've received a bit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
